The client required the addition of a one bedroom garden cottage on their property, where family would stay The challenge in this project was to fit the cottage on the built up site, and provide the occupants with privacy while ensuring that the addition would blend with the existing architecture. We achieved this through a continuation of the existing roof style, wall finishes and window framing. Cottage residents have access to a small private garden to the east, while the facade of the cottage still blends with that of the house on the pool side.
