The client required for their master bathroom to be extended, their existing kitchen / dining area to be reconfigured; and existing patio to be enclosed to create a bigger lounge area with an indoor/outdoor feel. We made use of an existing patio structure to create a modernist box, grafted onto the side of a more traditional house, with large openable picture windows and a roof deck above, accessed from the loft.
