The client required an interior design for this project that would enhance the home's connection to nature. Our aim was to design with simple, natural materials used in a beautiful way, and align with the tranquillity of the country estate while still creating a feeling of luxury. A material palette of light oak, walnut, raw concrete, slate, travertine and off-white marble was developed, with accents of brass and gunmetal grey, creating visual harmony and enhancing spatial experiences through a variety of textures. Drawing from Japanese and Scandinavian design, interior design elements were kept simple, with focus placed on balance and proportion.
