The client had purchased a subdivided property, including an existing Tuscan-style cottage. We transformed this into a contemporary family home, including 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a powder room and open plan lounge-dining-kitchen area. The client favoured a transitional style, combining traditional and modern elements. With this in mind, we adopted a modern-barn feel for the form, experienced internally through a dramatic raked ceiling over living areas.
